New Venues

We have so many performances in the next few weeks! It’s been incredibly rewarding to plan these programs and think of new pieces to showcase the variety available for the duo. Antonio has been arranging and transcribing new works for us. For example, we’ll be featuring an arrangement of Amy Beach’s Berceuse op. 40 on several programs, including performing it at a new retirement community, Yankee Hill Village.

In addition to performing a recital on Jan 31 at Concordia University, we will have a masterclass at 4 p.m. We’ll discuss our music backgrounds, the process for selecting programs and creating new works for the duo, even considering how to approach transcriptions and arrangements.

It’s been fun to be involved in some new media for our performance in Central City on Feb 9, which is supported in part by the Nebraska Arts Council as members of their Nebraska Touring Roster. We hope you enjoy this interview podcast and promo video.
